The Hanken Family - Ministry

Currently the Hanken's our serving with the Student Connection Youth Ministry in Aplington, IA. T.J. began the Student Connection in January 2002 and it serves as the youth ministry for seven churches in the Aplington-Parkersburg, IA area.

In Guatemala T.J. will serve with New Life Children's Home discipling Middle School students and organizing mission trips for groups from the states.

T.J. also plans to serve on staff with the Christian Academy of Guatemala as a teacher and spiritual director. The Hanken children will also attend CAG.

After language school Dina plans to remain at home for six months and than transition into a part-time role at CAG and the children's home. T.J. will also take part in language school. This lasts for six months and is located in Antigua.
